DAN SIMMONS
Continental Search is managed by Daniel C. Simmons a Certified Personnel Consultant who has been recruiting since 1991. Dan has won over twenty awards in the last decade with the Top Echelon Network, America’s leading placement network including Placer of the Year in 2009.
He is a member of the Top Echelon Advisory Council and has been a featured speaker at the Top Echelon National Convention. Dan is a founding member of the Roundtable Leadership Forum, a group of top nationally recognized recruiters who meet throughout the year to share best practices.
Dan is also a member of the Maryland Recruiters Association and the National Association of Personnel Services. In 2008, Dan celebrated his 500th career placement.
Dan has been a guest speaker providing insight into career management for universities and trade associations including the Reciprocal Meat Conference for the American Meat Science Association in 2008 and 2009, the Washington DC Chapter of ARPAS, (American Registry of Professional Animal Scientists) in 2008 and the Animal Science Departments of both Penn State University and the University of Delaware.
Frequently Dan also is a recruiter trainer and has been featured at various Top Echelon Conventions and online as a speaker for various webinars. He has also been published in The Fordyce Letter the recruiting industry’s #1 magazine.

JIM HIPSKIND
Jim Hipskind, a Certified Personnel Consultant brings over 24 years recruiting experience in processing, manufacturing, food and agriculture to the Continental Search team. One of his many strengths includes developing trustworthy and long lasting relationships with his clients, many of which he has served consistently for over 18 years, to help them maximize their staffing investment. Jim combines the art of working collaboratively with his clients with his ability to creatively define their business needs and job requirements to identify top prospective candidates. Hipskind has been published in the Fordyce Letter, the recruiting industry’s top newsletter. Jim has been a trainer/presenter at multiple Top Echelon regional and national conventions. Jim’s membership in the National Association of Personnel Services and the Roundtable Leadership Forum keep him abreast of industry best practices allowing him to utilize state-of-the-art techniques and the finest industry ethics when working with clients.

DON HUNTER
Don joined Continental Search in the Fall of 2010 after assisting on many joint recruiting projects with CSO principal Dan Simmons over many years. Don has been recruiting since 1993 and has filled sales, operations, animal nutrition and animal health positions across the nation. Most recently, Don spent 15 years as the Principal Recruiter for Bay Resource Group in Traverse City, Michigan. Don has been a regular contributor to the Animal Science Monitor and an award-winning member of the Top Echelon Network.

DEBORAH SIMMONS
Deborah Simmons joined Continental Search full-time in 2001 as Research and Operations Director. Her expertise in the management of hundreds of job listings, an extensive internal database, as well as the company’s finances make her an integral piece of CSO team. Deborah is the catalyst for all research pertaining our searches. She facilitates the posting of new job openings, researches candidates from our internal database and resume banks and uses the latest tools and techniques to perform in-depth Internet research to find the most qualified candidates for a given position. Deborah manages the finances for the organization and is the point of contact for all billing.

MATT DEUTSCH
Matt is the managing editor of The ASM, a position he’s held for all four years of the newsletter’s existence. He graduated from Youngstown State University (’95) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
